AICC RCOG SZ 2026 Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Important – PLEASE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING DATES

Deadline for abstract Submission is 15th June, 12 Midnight

All presentations are Online on Zoom platform, and the exact dates will be announced later.

Abstract submissions will be online only through the portal

Exciting Prizes to be won. The prize distribution will be done at the valedictory ceremony of the conference.

Categories –

  1. Oral presentation
  2. Poster Presentation

Choose one category for your abstract submission.

You are allowed to submit only one abstract under either one of the above categories.

Please note- The Abstract committee holds the sole right to accept or reject abstracts, to assign oral platform or poster presentation and to decide on the final slot allocation.

Themes: “Predict, Prevent and Preserve”

Thematic Alignment Guide
When preparing your abstract, ensure your work addresses one of the following pillars as they relate to Obstetrics / Gynaecology.
Predict: Focus on screening, biomarkers, genetic testing or risk stratification, etc.
Prevent: Focus on primary or secondary prevention strategies- vaccinations, or prophylactic interventions, preventing caesareans, etc.
Preserve: Focus on fertility – sparing surgeries, conservative management or quality of life preservation, preserving uteri, preserving fertility in cancers, etc

Abstract Format (Max 300 words):

Language: English only
Title of the Abstract: (clear, concise, and reflecting the theme)
Category: Choose one- Oral presentation or Poster presentation
Theme: Obstetrics/ Gynaecology and then one of the three Ps as mentioned aboveAbstract Body:

  1. Introduction: Define the clinical problem and how it relates to the “predict, prevent or preserve “theme.
  2. Aims and Objectives:
  3. Materials and Methods:
  4. Results: Summarize the data findings or clinical implications. NOTE: results must be included; “work in progress” is not accepted.
  5. Discussion/Conclusion.
  6. For Case series/ Case reports- Case summary in the materials and methods and outcome in the results.

Submission checklist:

Please ensure the Following

  1. Word count is less than 300 words.
  2. No names of authors or institutions are in abstract body.
  3. No photos, tables, or graphs are included in the text.
  4. The work is original and has not been published or presented elsewhere in national or international conferences.
  5. Signed Self Declaration- Please go through following points and confirm
    1. I confirm that it is an original study and I am one of the investigator.
    2. I confirm that this has not been published elsewhere or presented in national or international meetings.international meetings.
    3. I have the institution and HOD approval for presentation of this abstract.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Abstract submissions will be accepted through the online portal only-
  2. Abstracts sent through post/email will not be considered for review and presentation.
  3. Deadline for Abstract submission is 15th June 12 midnight
  4. Abstracts submitted after deadline will not be considered.
  5. Each delegate can submit only one abstract under Any one of the categories mentioned below and the submitting delegate will be considered the presenting author. Certificate of presentation will be issued to the presenting author only.
  6. Abstract once submitted cannot be modified.
  7. Conference registration is mandatory for abstract submission

Review process:

  1. The abstracts will be reviewed online by experts’ panel through an unbiased, blinded selection process.
  2. The final category of presentation is decided after the review process by the abstract committee.
  3. The Abstract committee holds the sole right to accept or reject abstracts, to assign oral platform or poster presentation and to decide on the final slot allocation.
  4. Abstracts, submitted for Oral, may be allotted for Poster Presentation.  (For ex. Case reports / series/ low impact studies will be considered for poster presentations)
  5. Acceptance and Notification of presentations
  6. Presenting authors will receive email notification of abstract’s acceptance or rejection after the abstract submission deadline with the details of the presentation category-Poster/Paper.
  7. The exact details of the presentation- Time and date will be communicated shortly after.
  8. Certificate will be provided only to the presenting author.
